D G Smith Upholstery was established in 1972 by master upholsterer David George Smith. Originally based in Leicester, the business relocated to Cromer on the North Norfolk coast in 1987, where it continues to serve customers across Norfolk and beyond. Over the years, the company has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, honest advice and exceptional customer service.
Today, David has taken a well-earned retirement, passing the business on to the next generation. His daughter, Natalie, now runs the company alongside Neil and Steve, David's sons-in-law, continuing the family values, quality craftsmanship and personal service that customers have trusted for over 50 years.
In 2021, the business became D G Smith Upholstery & Recliner Centre Ltd, marking another milestone in its history while remaining the same independent family business our customers have trusted for generations.
